About the Department:

The Global Talent function is responsible for talent acquisition, talent and performance management, learning and leadership development, and early career pipeline planning at Invesco globally.

About the role:

The Learning & Leadership Development Solutions Lead will drive the end-to-end strategy, design, and execution of a comprehensive learning and leadership development solutions portfolio aligned with enterprise leadership and talent priorities. As a strategic thought partner to the Head of Learning & Leadership Development, this role ensures the firm offers impactful, future-focused learning and leadership development solutions that build critical capabilities and foster a culture of growth.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Portfolio Strategy & Management

•       Lead the end-to-end strategy, design, and delivery of the learning and leadership development solutions portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise leadership, the firm’s strategic objectives, and talent development priorities.

•       Curate and manage a diverse suite of learning experiences, tailored to various leadership levels and functions.

•       Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

•       Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent, and Business Leaders to identify capability gaps and learning needs across the organization.

•       Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring learning solutions are relevant, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Vendor & Partner Management

•       Manage relationships with external learning providers and thought leaders to source and co-create high-impact learning experiences.

•       Manage budgets and vendor contracts and ensure quality and consistency across vendor-delivered programs.

Learning Culture Enablement

•       Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth by promoting the value of development across all levels of the organization.

•       Embed learning into the flow of work through accessible, relevant, and personalized experiences.

•       Collaborate with internal communications and other internal partners to amplify learning success stories and drive engagement.

Learning Technology & Digital Experience

•       Serve as the business owner and strategic lead for select learning and leadership development platforms, ensuring the technology ecosystem supports the delivery of high-impact learning experiences.

•       Partner closely with Learning & Leadership Development (Senior) Implementation Leads and other internal stakeholders to manage platform operations, configurations, content deployment, user experience, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

•       Oversee platform governance, vendor relationships, and enhancement roadmaps to ensure learning technologies remain effective, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

•       Leverage platform data and analytics to monitor engagement, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform decisions on learning strategy and investment.

•       Stay current on emerging learning technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, and digital learning trends to enhance the learner experience and operational efficiency.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

•       Stay abreast of emerging trends in adult learning, leadership development, and learning technologies.

•       Introduce innovative learning methodologies and tools to enhance learner engagement and impact.

Operational Excellence

•       Oversee program operations including enrollment, communications, logistics, learner support, and learning technology administration in collaboration with the Learning & Leadership Development Implementation Leads.

•       Ensure effective execution of platform-related activities, including testing, content publishing, reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.

•       Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements where applicable.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree, certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience of experience in learning and leadership development, with a focus on program design and portfolio management.
  • Proven experience in managing open enrollment or enterprise-wide learning programs in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align learning strategies with organizational goals.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond positively in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong time management and organization skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active programs.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled learning technologies and productivity tools to enhance learning design, content curation, learner engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
