Full Job Description
This is a hybrid role, reporting to Equifax's Atlanta-based office Monday through Thursday, consistent with Equifax's flexible work framework.

A key team member within the Equifax USIS University Team, the Learning & Development Manager - Sales University will drive the strategy, development, and execution of training programs tailored to the USIS sales organization. This role is a hands-on, execution-focused position requiring strong personal ownership of content creation and program delivery, while balancing mentorship and technical direction for one direct report-providing a unique opportunity to exercise direct impact while honing team leadership skills. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Learning & Development in the USIS Talent Development organization in HR.

In this role, you will bridge educational strategy and operational execution by developing comprehensive learning roadmaps, establishing governance, and managing external sales skills training partnerships. You will collaborate closely with leaders in Sales, Sales Operations & Enablement, Product Marketing, Global Learning, and HR, utilizing data-driven feedback and emerging learning technologies to continuously enhance the capabilities of the Equifax sales force.

What You'll Do

L&D Strategy & Team Leadership
  • People Management & Coaching: Lead, develop, and mentor an Instructional Designer, guiding their professional growth and managing project priorities while maintaining personal accountability for end-to-end execution.
  • Strategic Roadmaps: Help to develop and execute the Sales University training strategy and roadmap, encompassing product, tools, and sales skills training aligned with USIS objectives.
  • Resource & Tool Management: Manage all design tool renewals, licenses, access permissions, and payments to ensure the team has the necessary technology to work efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management: Partner with Product Marketing, HR, and Sales Ops & Enablement to develop and execute sales training while ensuring minimal friction with other USIS priorities impacting sales.


Instructional Quality & Content Governance
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve all training content and associated communications to ensure instructional integrity. Observe homegrown sales instructor-led training sessions and provide targeted, constructive feedback on content structure and facilitation quality. Conduct focus groups to solicit feedback on sales training programs, analyzing the output to make strategic recommendations for program improvement.
  • Content Governance: Lead the creation, refinement, and compliance of instructional design governance, ensuring brand consistency and high learner experience standards across all materials.


Vendor & Partner Management
  • Vendor Oversight: Manage the primary relationship, contract utilization, and budget with our external sales skills training vendor to ensure maximum value and ROI.
  • Curriculum Alignment: Audit the vendor's training offerings, manage the vendor learning roadmap, and lead roadmap creation, revision, and compliance.
  • Content Review: Review new and updated vendor-delivered content, providing targeted feedback and insights to ensure alignment with Equifax selling principles.
  • Feedback Analysis: Track, analyze, and monitor feedback reports for vendor programs, shaping quarterly updates and bi-annual business reviews to leadership with actionable recommendations.


Digital Infrastructure & Learning Operations
  • LMS Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with Global Learning and Sales University governance standards, cross-training team members as content managers in Workday Learning as needed.
  • Project Management: Track and manage all active instructional design projects utilizing Smartsheet, ensuring detailed project folders are organized and updated weekly.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize a Tableau dashboard to analyze learning data to identify trends, uncover skill gaps, and correlate learning with performance.
  • Facilitation & Delivery: Potential to lead the facilitation of training programs on an as-needed basis, including both virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring high-impact delivery, strong learner engagement, and continuous improvement based on real-time participant feedback and post-training analysis.


What Experience You Need
  • Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study.
  • Learning and Development Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a learning and development role (e.g., learning and development leader, instructional designer, program manager, trainer, learning consultant) in a corporate environment (preferably supporting sales organizations at some point).
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of learning professionals.
  • Vendor & Project Management: Demonstrated success managing external vendor relationships, monitoring contract utilization, and managing learning budgets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with instructional design tools (such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia) and learning, project management, and reporting platforms (Workday Learning, Smartsheet, Tableau).
  • Adult Learning Theory: Deep, demonstrated knowledge of adult learning and best practices in instructional design and facilitation.
