This role is crucial in developing a vision and executing a strategic plan that elevates the factory's operations to a future state defined by high performance, lean efficiency, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the plant manager and leading an 11-person Lean team across a workforce of more than 1,200 employees, you will create a comprehensive roadmap for change and foster a culture of innovation and excellence throughout the organization, raising the bar rather than maintaining the status quo. This is an on-site role, working closely with teams on the production floor.

• Optimizing material flow and layout through flow design, material feeding, cycle time analysis, time studies, line balancing, and capacity modeling, advancing the plant's transition from stationary builds toward continuous one-piece flow.
• Facilitating Lean workshops, visual management, and Lean Thinker training for hourly employees, keeping the Lean team focused on improving production systems rather than becoming permanently absorbed in daily production work.
• Working alongside data analytics and automation teams to evaluate new technologies, applying a fundamentals-first approach that simplifies and stabilizes processes before introducing automation, robotics, or digitalization.
• Integrating lean principles into the factory's safety programs, ensuring every process improvement also enhances workplace safety.
