Full Job Description
DUTIES: Lead creation of test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on defined requirements and acceptance criteria, and perform software testing, test automation, and quality assurance for enterprise applications. Design and build automated test scripts and frameworks, including implementing AI-driven and agentic automation solutions, using tools and technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, Java, SQL, Azure SQL, Python, Databricks Genie, and Agile methodologies. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand application architecture, interfaces, and test environments, and ensure alignment with company tools and methodologies. Utilize experience with source control and configuration management tools, such as GIT, to support test development and deployment processes. Improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of software systems by identifying defects, recommending design improvements, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Develop and implement automation solutions at component and integration levels to enhance testing efficiency, leveraging machine learning, AI, data-driven approaches, and agentic workflows where applicable. Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and support release planning and estimation activities. Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and automation practices by evaluating test coverage, quality metrics, and incorporating AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Databricks Genie, and agentic solution frameworks. Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, reviewing test artifacts, and promoting best practices across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and resolve complex issues through root cause analysis, using tools and technologies such as Agile for manual testing and test automation frameworks, SQL, Azure SQL, ETL, Selenium, Playwright, Java, C#, .NET, SSIS, GIT, JavaScript, Python, Databricks Genie, and agentic solutions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 60 months ofexperience with each of the following: (1) Manual Testing and Test Automation frameworks in Agile, (2) SQL, ETL, and data validation for comprehensive testing including functional, integration, performance, and security testing, (3) Selenium automation tool with different frameworks, (4) Programming in Java or C# .NET, (5) Database and ETL testing, including validation of data transformations and data integrity, and (6) QA practices and methodologies, black box testing, white box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing practices. Experience may be gained concurrently. Telecommuting from home office available within commuting distance from HQ in Irving, TX. Salary: $125,611 to $179,000/year.
