Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to support the design development and scaling of data pipelines and data foundations for AI-driven claims solutions This role will focus on building robust scalable and efficient data processing capabilities that enable AI/ML automation reporting and analytics across multiple Lines of Business. The candidate will work closely with engineering, AI/ML data science and business teams to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, quality and delivery in support of Claims AI 10.0 initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for Claims AI 10.0 initiatives across PCRB, E&I UNET, USP, and Disputes
Develop and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows to support AI/ML, reporting, and automation use cases
Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and integration pipelines across multiple source systems
Ensure high data quality, consistency lineage and availability across engineering and AI workflows
Collaborate with AI/ML and data science teams to prepare and deliver data for model training inference, feature engineering, and analytics
Support large-scale data processing, pipeline automation, and performance optimization
Strengthen data observability, monitoring reconciliation and failure handling across pipelines
Ensure security compliance and governance standards are embedded in data engineering practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data platform reliability efficiency and reusability
Required Skills
Strong experience in Data Engineering and large-scale data processing
Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as PySpark or Spark
Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and pipeline design
Experience supporting AI/ML analytics or automation data workflows is preferred
Knowledge of data quality, lineage, monitoring, and pipeline reliability practices
Ability to work effectively across multiple Lines of Business
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
