You will work throughout the software development life cycle and perform in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures. Analyze existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs. Maintain and utilize application and programming documents in the development of code. Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Create appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment
What you'll own: Operating Systems -
- Microsoft Windows
- Linux distributions including one or more for the following: Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Amazon Linux
Database - Design, familiarity with DDL and DML for one or more of the following databases Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, IMS, DB2,
Back-end technologies - Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, Mainframe COBOL, Mainframe Assembler
Front-end technologies - HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CICS
Web Frameworks - Web technologies like Node.js, React.js, Angular, Redux
Development Tools - Visual Studio, Webpack, Babel, Gulp, Eclipse
It's a bonus if you have:- Skills / Knowledge - Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Barriers to entry such as technical committee review may exist at this level.
- Job Complexity - Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
- Supervision - Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others
