The RoleAs a Lead Software Engineer at STR, you will help develop disruptive technologies focused on estimation theory, prediction and system resource management. You will design and implement flexible software solutions and collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams. You will provide high-impact, unique solutions for our customers' most important problems. We are looking for someone to join our team onsite as this position is based primarily in the Woburn, MA office.
Who you are:- Active Top Secret Clearance Required with SCI eligibility, for which U.S citizenship is needed by the U.S government
- MS with at least 8 years of experience, and/or PhD with at least 5 years of experience (or equivalent experience) in a scientific field such as applied math, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or data science
- Proficient in writing maintainable, well documented code and APIs
- Able to work and collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience using Linux
- Expertise using C++, Python, and Java
- Experience with container-based software (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Even better:- Have experience in intelligence or military-related mission areas
- Have experience with micro-service architecture and DevOps pipelines
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $174,000 - $220,000
The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors, such as but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, key skills/critical skills, security clearances, and prevailing market and business conditions.
