POSTION DESRCIPTIONDrinkPAK is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Software Developer to design, build, and enhance the applications and digital tools that support its fast-growing manufacturing and business operations. This hands-on individual contributor will be deeply involved in coding, architecture, and end-to-end solution delivery while also meeting with stakeholders helping gather and refine requirements. The role includes developing full-stack applications, integrating systems and data pipelines, contributing to CI/CD and DevOps practices, and ensuring secure, high-quality delivery. This developer will serve as a technical advisor and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, modern software solutions that directly impact operational efficiency and business growth without the responsibilities of people management.
This Lead Full-Stack Software Developer will design, build, and evolve the software applications and digital tools that power our manufacturing operations and business systems. This role is a hands-on technical contributor who also plays a role in shaping our software development standards, architecture decisions, and technology roadmap.

The systems you'll work on span the full stack and connect the plant floor to the business: production scheduling and line performance data, warehouse and logistics tooling, customer-facing portals, and the internal platforms that let operations, quality, and finance teams get answers without filing a ticket.

TYPE: Full Time; Salaried / Exempt
LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPak's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and business teams to translate needs into practical software solutions
- Translate operational problems into scoped, shippable software in direct conversation with the team and plant and business stakeholders
- Build internal full-stack applications, APIs, and integrations end to end, from the data layer through the user interface, across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and commercial systems
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using modern frameworks and practices
- Ensure responsiveness, performance, and reliability across applications and platforms
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to support innovation and efficiency
- Build net new and integrations between business platforms (ERP, MES, warehouse management, Smartsheets) and DrinkPAK's own data layer
- Work with data engineering on pipeline and model design so applications and analytics share one source of truth rather than drifting apart
- Take on complex problems independently and carry them through to production
- Advocate for clean code, design patterns, and robust testing strategies.
- Review your teammates' code and have yours reviewed, contributing to the standards the team holds itself to and ensuring secure, quality, and maintainable code practices are held to
QUALIFICATIONS- At least 4+ years building and shipping production software, including meaningful ownership of systems end to end
- Full-stack capability: strong backend engineering in C#, .NET Core, modern front-end work in Javascript / Typescript / React or similar, and solid SQL skills
- Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud applications on Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Entra ID, Azure DevOps) with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Sound architectural judgment: you've made design calls, lived with the consequences, and can explain the tradeoffs
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders to define requirements, not just receive them
- Understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices
- Self-direction, and the judgment to know when a decision needs a conversation first
Preferred- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Manufacturing, supply chain, CPG, or other operational-industry software experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI semantic models, or Lakehouse/medallion architecture
- Experience integrating with plant systems: SCADA, historians, MES, ERP, or automated warehouse equipment
- Exposure to applied AI tooling in an enterprise setting
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or other)

BASE SALARY RANGE: $130K- $150k
