Partner with the bestYou will evaluate the security of Akamai's distributed network and products, guide technical control design, and support security programs with a focus on information security compliance.
As a Security Architect Senior Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements
- Translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails
- Supporting compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework
- Working with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation
- Improving adoption and monitoring of security controls through AI and automation
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience
- Show extensive experience assessing security in cloud systems, Internet technologies, infrastructure, applications, and data governance
- Have expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support
- Have proven experience designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems
CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $169,300 - $304,700/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
