We are seeking engineers who can thrive in a fast-moving environment, comfortable taking vague design ideas and turning them into concrete, testable architecture and secure solutions.

The Role:

The Lead Security Engineering - Terminals will have technical ownership of the end-to-end security design and delivery of our novel ground-based terminals. This role is responsible for the security architecture of terminal systems including mmWave apertures, complex RF and switching subsystems, and baseband hardware. You will ensure embedded security and secure wireless communication for the ground segment, defining and enforcing the security guardrails for what Logos procures and manufactures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy and roadmap for ground-based terminal hardware and software interfaces.
  • Design and implement RF-related datalink security and secure wireless communication protocols for terminals.
  • Conduct thorough threat modeling across terminal hardware components, including mmWave and baseband subsystems, and low-level software interfaces.
  • Lead the design and implementation of secure provisioning workflows and key injection for terminal hardware components.
  • Ensure alignment with cryptographic standards such as FIPS for terminal security modules.
  • Oversee manufacturing security and manage the chain of custody for terminal production to prevent tampering.
  • Collaborate with Terminal Hardware and RAN Stack teams to integrate security controls into the terminal architecture.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security engineers, contributing to the overall growth of the security organization.
