We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with strong functional and integration expertise across SAP FSCM, Bank Integration, S/4HANA New Asset Accounting, Controlling, Material Ledger, Product Costing, and OpenText VIM/OCR integration.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, Finance teams, technical teams, and other SAP functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end SAP Finance solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong S/4HANA implementation experience and be comfortable owning solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and production support.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga , Canada or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills - Lead requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.

- Work with Finance and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FSCM processes and relevant Finance integrations.
- Design and support SAP Bank Integration, including integration of banking processes with SAP Finance.
- Implement and support S/4HANA New Asset Accounting, including asset lifecycle and FI integration.
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) processes.
- Provide expertise in Material Ledger and Product Costing, including integration across Finance, Controlling, and Materials Management/manufacturing processes.
- Design and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions.
- Support integration of VIM with OCR technologies for invoice capture and automated invoice processing.
- Analyze complex functional and integration issues and coordinate resolution with ABAP, integration, Basis, security, and other SAP functional teams.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and deployment/support documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP S/4HANA best practices and meet business, audit, and control requirements.
Mandatory Skills: - Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance / FI-CO.
- Strong expertise in SAP FSCM and Bank Integration.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA New Asset Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Controlling (CO).
- Hands-on experience with Material Ledger and Product Costing.
- Experience with OpenText VIM implementation and/or support.
- Experience with OCR integration with OpenText VIM and invoice processing.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or transformation programs.
- Ability to independently conduct workshops, analyze requirements, design solutions, and work directly with business stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills - Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.
- Experience working in complex global SAP environments.
- Understanding of Finance master data and organizational structures.
- Knowledge of interfaces and integration between SAP and external banking/invoice-processing platforms.
- Experience coordinating with SAP MM, SD, Procurement, Manufacturing, ABAP, Basis, Security, and integration teams.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario- $96620 to $109129
