Job SummaryPeopleFun is seeking a Lead Product Manager to help shape the next chapter of Wordscapes, our flagship word game with more than 100M Google Play downloads. This role will own product strategy for a proven live game and identify the experiences and systems that will keep it growing.
You will lead the LiveOps pod, own and prioritize the LiveOps roadmap, and shape a sustainable cadence of features, events, content, offers, and experiments. The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment, hands-on analysis, and the ability to balance near-term performance with long-term player value.
Responsibilities- Own product management for Wordscapes and lead the cross-functional pod responsible for the game's roadmap, execution, and performance.
- Drive sustainable growth by improving recurring engagement, retention, and monetization across the player lifecycle.
Own and prioritize the LiveOps roadmap and calendar, balancing recurring events, content, offers, experiments, and larger feature investments. - Own key game KPIs and use player, cohort, funnel, segment, event, and feature data to identify opportunities and make product decisions.
- Partner with Design, Production, Engineering, and Analytics to deliver features, events, content, offers, and experiments with clear goals, success metrics, and guardrails.
- Own and evolve the game economy, progression systems, rewards, and offers to support player motivation, retention, monetization, and long-term game health.
- Review event and feature performance, identify follow-up actions, and apply learnings to future LiveOps cycles and roadmap decisions.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree (graduate degree preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in game product management, ideally on a scaled free-to-play mobile game or long-running live product.
- Proven experience owning LiveOps for a free-to-play game and improving retention, engagement, or monetization through recurring events, content, offers, or features.
- Experience owning a product roadmap and leading a cross-functional team through strategy, execution, measurement, and follow-through.
- Strong understanding of free-to-play business models, LiveOps, game economies, and monetization systems.
- Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyze cohorts, funnels, segments, and experiments and translate insights into product decisions.
- Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, including defining hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and follow-up actions.
- Strong prioritization, initiative, judgment, and communication skills, with the ability to make clear decisions as information and priorities evolve.
- Ability to travel to the Dallas office 3-4 times per year.

This role is currently open to remote candidates based in the following U.S. states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas and Washington. Candidates based in Dallas will follow a hybrid work arrangement with our Dallas studio, with four days per week in the office (Monday-Thursday).
The anticipated base salary range for this role is USD $135,000-$155,000. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique qualifications, experience and circumstances of each candidate. Actual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to an individual's skills, experience, education, training, licenses and certifications (where applicable), as well as business and organizational needs. The final compensation package will be based on the specific position offered in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
