Description
Within North American Solution Design, this role will be responsible to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, end-to-end supply chain and transportation solutions for Purolator's largest and most strategic customers across North America. Responsible for translating customer requirements into executable operational solutions while aligning cross-functional teams. The role drives revenue growth, customer retention, operational readiness, and successful onboarding of high-value opportunities. As part of the Enterprise Solutions organization, the position provides leadership in solution architecture, customer supply chain strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives that support scalable business growth and exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Design and develop transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions for strategic customer opportunities across North America within Purolator's core products of courier, LTl and Full Truckload solutions.
Gather, analyze, and translate customer business requirements into operationally executable solutions that balance customer needs with network and operational capabilities.
Support the onboarding and implementation of new customers by coordinating activities across Sales, Operations, Customer Onboarding, and other stakeholder groups.
Conduct operational assessments, process mapping, volume analysis, and cost modeling to support solution recommendations and business decisions.
Prepare customer-facing and internal solution documentation, SOPs, implementation plans, and executive presentations.
Partner with Sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle to evaluate customer requirements, identify risks, and recommend innovative solutions.
Monitor implementation progress and support issue resolution to ensure successful customer launches and stabilization.
Collaborate with Strategic Aftercare and Operations teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities and support long-term customer success.
Maintain project timelines, action plans, and stakeholder communications for assigned initiatives.
Support standardization of solution design processes, tools, and governance practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience
Equivalent to University Graduation in General Courses - Analytical, critical thinking, and research skills gained.
5-8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, operations, customer onboarding, solution design, or a related field.
Experience developing customer-focused transportation or supply chain solutions.
Strong analytical skills with experience in process mapping, operational assessments, cost modeling, and data analysis.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Customer-facing experience, including requirements gathering, presentations, and solution development.
Familiarity with parcel, LTL, truckload, and integrated supply chain operations is preferred
Vast Operations experience within Purolator or other industry leaders at a minimum of D.M. level.
Knowledge of Courier, Freight, and Logistics; or those with a Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Billing, and IT/Engineering background.
Ability to learn and understand Purolator-specific systems (Salesforce, Medgate, Qlikview Dashboards, FMR, Daily tracking, etc.).
Above-average Purolator Operations acumen.
High level of business oral and written communication skills.
Project Management experience.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
