Job Duties and Responsibilities

EchoStar requires a Lead Financial Analyst to navigate complex valuation, M&A activities, and business case development across a growing portfolio. This role solves capital allocation and strategic growth challenges by constructing robust financial models and conducting deep-dive market analyses. Successful performance ensures senior leadership has clear, data-driven insights to make high-stakes operational and transactional decisions.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
  • Lead end-to-end M&A workstreams, financial due diligence, and valuation modeling to support strategic transactions and capital allocation decisions
  • Construct and maintain complex forward-looking financial, subscriber profitability, and NPV models that directly inform corporate strategy and performance
  • Perform comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and structural risks within the industry landscape
  • Synthesize complex data and due diligence findings into highly polished presentation materials for senior leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional operational groups to analyze performance metrics and forecast revenue and cost drivers
  • Apply generative AI and predictive analytics tools to accelerate financial modeling, data extraction, and strategic analysis workflows

  • AI literacy and application skills, specifically utilizing AI copilots and automated tools to optimize financial analysis workflows

Additional Qualifications
  • MBA, MS-Finance, or related Master's degree
  • Telecom industry experience


Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or M&A
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
    • Financial modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, NPV)
    • Valuation methodologies and M&A deal structures
    • Subscription business financial metrics (ARPU, churn, subscriber lifetime value)

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
