Job Description:

The Role

Entegris is seeking a new FP&A Lead to support our Formulated Solutions division. The new hire in this role will serve as the key finance business partner to the CMP Slurries, Pads, and Substrates Strategic Business Units (SBU).

The new Finance Lead will provide financial leadership, business insights, planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support across assigned business areas. They will help translate business priorities into financial plans, identify risks and opportunities, support investment decisions, and drive accountability for financial performance.

This position is based onsite in Aurora, IL.

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with SBU leaders to develop business insights from financial, operational, and market data


  • Build financial models and business cases to assess investment opportunities, expected returns, risks, and strategic alignment.


  • Prioritize competing business needs through clear financial analysis and fact-based recommendations.


  • Provide financial insights and objective recommendations to support sound decision-making and business performance.


  • Challenge assumptions and help business leaders understand financial risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs.


  • Leverage systems, tools, and analytics to improve efficiency and enable better decision-making.


Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities for assigned Strategic Business Units.


  • Ensure financial forecasts and business assumptions align with operational objectives and market trends.


  • Monitor business performance against commitments and identify corrective actions where needed.


  • Analyze key business drivers and financial performance indicators, including revenue trends, profitability drivers, and operating expenses to deliver actionable insights.


  • Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, planning processes, and KPI visibility.


  • Support standardization and simplification of finance processes across assigned Strategic Business Units.


Governance, Risk & Financial Stewardship

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and governance requirements.


  • Partner with Corporate Finance, Controllership, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders to maintain financial integrity and transparency.


  • Handle confidential financial information appropriately and with strong professional judgment.


What We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


  • 8+ years of progressive finance and/or FP&A experience, ideally supporting a large, global Business Unit.


  • Experience supporting global business units and product portfolios within a manufacturing, semiconductor, technology, or industrial environment.


  • Experience leading forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles as well as financial modeling activities.


  • Strong track record of using financial analysis, business insights, and strategic partnership to influence business outcomes.


  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills; SAP, BPC, Hyperion, and/or OneStream a plus.


  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced financial credential preferred.


  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.


  • Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate effectively with financial and non-financial audiences.


  • Confidence to communicate points of view, challenge assumptions, and influence business partners.


  • Ability to work independently on key deliverables and lead financial deep-dive discussions.


  • Continuous improvement mindset to enhance financial processes, reporting, and analytics.


  • An approach to work that includes a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

  • Compensation: $114,000- $142,500per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
