As a
Lead Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Leading the design, development, testing, and support of advanced RF-based electronic systems for medical imaging applications.
- Designing and analyzing analog and RF circuitry, including high-frequency electronics and signal transmission systems.
- Utilizing simulation, modeling, and CAD tools to develop and optimize electrical designs.
- Performing system integration activities to ensure compatibility and performance across complex electromechanical systems.
- Conducting validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action investigations for field and production issues.
- Collaborating with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Supporting compliance with applicable safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Leading technical reviews, driving engineering decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, product enhancement, and continuous improvement.
- Managing multiple engineering initiatives while ensuring quality, schedule, and technical objectives are achieved.
Qualifications;- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, RF design, medical devices, medical imaging, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of analog and RF circuit design principles.
- Experience with electrical design, simulation, and modeling tools.
- Understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, antennas, amplifiers, oscillators, and related RF technologies.
- Experience with printed circuit board design, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of engineering product development processes and design verification practices.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated product development environments preferred.
- Knowledge of IEC standards, reliability engineering, Lean methodologies, or continuous improvement practices preferred.
Location: Onsite in Aurora, OHSalary Range: $80,000 0 $120,000The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
