Full Job Description
Purpose of Role

Lead the execution and advancement of Digital Apparel Design, driving best-in-class 3D design, digital visualization, and virtual product development across the team. As a key member of the Design team, you will help establish and elevate standards for digital apparel design, rendering quality, and digital asset creation while fostering a collaborative, cross-functional digital ecosystem.

Partner closely with Design and Product Line Management to create high-quality digital products designs that accelerate decision-making, improve speed to market, and reduce physical sampling. Champion the use of digital assets throughout the product creation lifecycle, unlocking efficiencies through streamlined workflows, automation, and repeatable processes

Your Impact

  • Support, develop, and continuously elevate Digital Apparel Design standards, processes, and deliverables to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the product creation ecosystem.
  • Lead and execute day-to-day 3D apparel design activities, delivering high-quality digital designs, visualizations, and product representations that support key business milestones and timelines.
  • Serve as a Digital Apparel Design representative in design reviews, apparel huddles, fit sessions, and cross-functional meetings, partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Champion advancements in digital product creation by driving innovation in virtual sampling, rendering quality, visualization accuracy, and data-driven design standards that improve efficiency and reduce physical prototyping.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for digital apparel creation tools and workflows, providing training, mentorship, and ongoing support to design teams while staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, software enhancements, and industry best practices.


Qualifications

  • Software proficiency and in depth understanding. Browzwear, Clo, Rhino 3D, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Substance, Keyshot
  • Apparel knowledge and experience participating in the apparel design process.
  • Creative mindset and high visualization standards.
  • 3D Rendering, understanding of Digital materials, drape physics and lighting.
  • Ability to demonstrate a fully digital product creation workflow
  • Bachelors in related field or comparable experience. Industrial Design, Apparel/Fashion Design, Materials, Engineering, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience


Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

$90,000.00-$120,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
