The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Lead, Continuous Improvement for our Decatur, TX facility.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Lead, Continuous Improvement to join our team in Decatur, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and executing projects aimed at improving process yield by reducing variation, enhancing process control, eliminating waste, and optimizing processes to drive efficiency. This role requires a strong background in chemical or industrial engineering, a proven track record in cost savings projects, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.

What You'll Do:

Process Improvement & Optimization:

  • Identify and lead projects focused on reducing variation, enhancing process control, and eliminating waste.
  • Optimize chemical purification processes to improve yield and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement a yield monitoring program to quickly detect and address yield losses and variations.


Cost Savings & Project Management:

  • Drive cost savings initiatives by analyzing processes and implementing sustainable improvements.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, including cost-benefit analysis and progress updates.


Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, product management, and facilities, to implement process improvements.
  • Lead and mentor team members on best practices for process control and optimization. Data


Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize statistical methods and SPC tools to monitor and analyze process performance.
  • Identify trends and root causes of process variation and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present findings to senior management.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.


What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a process engineering or lead engineering role, preferably in chemical purification or related
  • Proven track record in cost savings projects and project management.
  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and yield monitoring systems.
  • Willing to travel but less than 10%.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or similar).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Driven: Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborative: Proven ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Innovative: Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
