Summary:
Under general supervision, provides quality and safe delivery of patient care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for meeting expectations for compliance in all required documentation. Practices privacy and confidentiality of patient and center information by abiding by HIPPA privacy & security policies. Follows established protocols and standards for delivery of patient care in compliance with disciplinary scope of practice, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and National Patient Safety Standards. Reports to the Manager of the Hybrid OR/Cath Lab for all job duties and together have responsibility for the adherence to clinical practice standards.

Responsibilities:
Provides quality and safe delivery of patient care services.
Utilizes procedural knowledge, collects and analyzes patient health information to determine diagnoses, identify and anticipate potential outcomes, continuously assesses the patient's status toward the attainment of positive outcomes, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Anticipates unexpected outcomes, maintains preparedness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, responsible for being knowledgeable of emergency equipment and supplies as needed.
Responsible for patient specific procedure preparations, hemodynamic monitoring, documentation, obtaining optimal diagnostic imaging, post procedure image processing and archiving.
Completes all required procedural, hemodynamic documentation, and quality assurance measures.
Maintains proficiency in all aspects of approved procedures in the Hybrid OR.
Communication and collaboration with team members regarding patient care is demonstrated on a regular basis.
Demonstrates procedural knowledge of supplies, equipment, and their location.
Adaptive to competing demands and changing needs of the patient and procedures.
Monitors sterile field and takes appropriate action as needed. Administers medications and solutions to sterile field as ordered.
Participates in orientation and training of new personnel.
Demonstrates effective written/verbal communication.
Skill in conflict resolution is demonstrated.
Communicates with pre, intra, and post-procedural staff as needed regarding patient care and ensures all department specific paperwork is accurate and complete.
Communicates information obtained from providers to members of the interdisciplinary team for patient care, procedural needs and/or expectations.
Attends departmental staff meetings led by department manager.
Changes in patient care delivery impacting procedures are communicated to team members in a timely manner.
Supports the implementation of departmental process improvement initiatives as directed by the department manager.
Communicates promptly with manager, biomedical engineering, and field service representatives to address needed operational repairs in a timely fashion
Responsible for communicating inventory needs, requests by providers, and performing monthly checks for expirations.
Complies with Hospital policies and procedures.
Job performance is demonstrated to be in compliance with Alaska Native Medical Center's policies and procedures.
Maintenance of confidentiality of patient information is demonstrated per policy and procedure.

Ensures procedural readiness by proactively communicating with providers regarding equipment, supply, and inventory needs to support safe and efficient case execution.
Coordinates and/or delivers training for staff on new procedures, equipment, and workflows, including arranging vendor-supported or third-party training to support service line growth.
Maintains accurate procedure logs and monitors service line volumes to support
operational planning and performance tracking.
Oversees inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, removing expired products, and evaluating items for replacement or deactivation based on utilization and need.
Manages supply ordering processes through the requisitioning platform and collaborates with purchasing to resolve delays or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Develops and maintains vendor relationships, including oversight of consignment inventory and ensuring accountability for product management.
