Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Appian Developer with strong hands-on Appian experience and BFSI/FinTech domain experience. The role will lead the development and delivery of Appian BPM solutions, provide hands-on technical leadership and solution design, and work directly with US-based stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Appian solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end Appian application development and delivery.
• Design and develop Appian components including SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, CDTs, Rules, and Constants.
• Define and enforce Appian development best practices and coding standards.
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Web APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Perform code reviews and ensure solution quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Drive application performance, optimization, scalability, and security.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and client discussions.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and drive technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor development teams of 6-10 members.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian.
• Strong experience with SAIL Interfaces.
• Strong experience with Process Models.
• Experience with Appian Records and Reports.
• Experience with CDTs, Rules, and Constants.
• Experience with Appian optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web API integrations.
• Good hands-on understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Knowledge of system design, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and basic DevOps practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work directly with US-based clients and drive technical discussions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• BFSI, FinTech, or Banking domain experience.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer / L3 certification.
• Prior US Onshore or client-facing experience.
