EchoStar is seeking a strategic and visionary Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive autonomous multi-agent system initiatives and define the future of generative AI products. This leadership role focuses on moving past experimental proof-of-concepts to deliver scalable, highly performant, and cost-effective solutions that drive measurable business impact and long-term innovation. Collaborating closely with business teams, product owners, and engineering units, this position translates complex workflows into resilient, production-ready microservices and architectures. By leveraging advanced agentic AI techniques, this role will actively revolutionize the entertainment industry and shape the next generation of digital entertainment experiences.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Mentor and lead a team of AI engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
  • Define long-term technical strategy for the AI roadmap, collaborating with leadership to align engineering design with business objectives
  • Conduct architectural reviews and set standards for code quality, scalability, and security across multi-agent workflows
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI services and hybrid control flows, state machines, and graphs to manage multi-step reasoning
  • Implement open communication protocol integrations with MCP for agent-to-tool integration and A2A for secure agent-to-agent coordination
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical agent specifications and production-ready architectures

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
    • Cloud-based foundation model platforms like AWS Bedrock
    • Containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infra such as Docker, EKS, or GitLab CI/CD
    • Multi-agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $153,755.00/Year - $208,035.00/Year
