Job Description SummaryThis role is with Employers Reassurance Corporation (ERAC), a reinsurance company and corporate holding of GE Aerospace. ERAC supports longduration insurance products, including longterm care insurance, structured settlement annuities, life insurance, and other insurance solutions.
Primarily responsible for finance and controllership activities involved with investment accounting and reporting, including tri-party reconciliation of investments, monitoring of open payables, receivables, and suspense, and execution of internal controls. Collaborate with internal investments and treasury teams and third-party custodians and asset managers. Additional responsibilities include supporting other controllership activities inclusive of GAAP and statutory financial reporting. This is a remote US role.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for investment accounting and reporting
- Ensure proper controls are in place and operating effectively, and execute internal controls
- Maintain tri-party reconciliations of investment positions to custodians and asset managers
- Review and ensure timely clearing of open investment payables, receivables, and suspense transactions
- Collaborate with internal investments and treasury teams
- Communicate with third party asset managers, custodians, and accounting providers
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Record manual journal entries
- Prepare GAAP and statutory financials and financial disclosures
- Communicate investment portfolio information to GE Aerospace, NALH senior management, and regulators
- Fulfill external and internal audit requests
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in accounting
- Financial services industry and investments experience
- Experience working with custodian banks and/or treasury functions
- Proficient use of financial systems and MS Office
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills

The base pay range for this position is $101,000.00 - 135,000.00 - 169,000.00 USD Annual
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate27s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 30, 2026.
