Job Description:Compensation:- Hourly Pay Rate Range: $37.00 to $40.00
- Additional Hourly Pay Rate: $2.00 per license
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Audit and approve weekly work records of assigned work group.
- Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within the guidelines of company policies, work rules and regulatory
regulation.
- Monitor performance and complete proficiency appraisals of assigned work group.
- Evaluate vacation requests against scheduling/manpower requirements and respond as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the Company Safety Manual.
- Manage operations in the most effective manner eliminating waste and improving productivity.
- Provide coaching, counseling and guidance to assigned work group.
- Maintain and track budgets as set by Project Manager. Communicate problem areas and resolve conflicts and discrepancies.
- Perform any disciplinary actions required within assigned work group in compliance with established guidelines.
- Interact with Planner to set and prioritize daily activities and set aircraft delivery schedule
- Perform a daily area inspection to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform periodic toolbox inspections.
- Monitor confined space compliance.
- Monitor internal audits and safety procedures for compliance.
- Ensure all procedures delineated on the Repair station manuals & FAA regulations are adhered to.
- Participate in investigations regarding operational deficiencies to help find root causes and develop corrective actions.
- To assist in accident investigation and follow-up as needed.
- Perform periodic in-process audits assigned by management.
- Meet with oncoming Lead Mechanic and maintain detailed shift turnover.
- Process N/R's to provide an accurate estimate and suggested repair.
- Ensure technical training is provided to employees as needed.
- Inspect work of mechanics prior to the quality control buybacks.
- Ensure mechanics are using current data to perform maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all required parts are ordered and tracked.
- Provides the project manager and business planner with accurate data and estimates and assists with the planning of the project.
Education and Experience:- 3-5 years experienced
- Preferably A/P or Airframe Certified
Skills and Abilities:- Assist Engineering with repairs
- Able to interpret technical data such as SRM, CMM, IPC, Drawings and EOs
Physical Requirements:- May be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, crawl, work in tight spaces and handle objects.
Occasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry light-weight materials up to 50 lbs.
