The successful candidate will have one to five years of experience and be licensed to practice in New York State. Experience in land use, zoning, municipal, environmental, real estate, or litigation matters is preferred.
Our Land Use & Zoning Practice Area represents developers, municipalities, utilities, businesses, and property owners in obtaining zoning and land use approvals for projects throughout New York State. Associates work directly with clients on land use entitlements, SEQRA compliance, state and local permitting, and related litigation. The position offers substantial opportunities for both written and oral advocacy before municipal boards, agencies, and courts.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced practice
Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000
This salary range represents the firm's good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
