Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
• 5-8+ years of land surveying experience
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, construction surveying, and local land use regulations
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Leica or Topcon workflows
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and client relationships
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and topographic surveys for various projects
• Supervise and mentor field crews with a focus on technical guidance and professional growth
• Manage survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Review and prepare plats, legal descriptions, right-of-way maps, and construction drawings
• Operate and oversee advanced surveying technologies such as GPS and UAVs
• Collaborate directly with clients, project managers, engineers, and public agencies
• Serve as signing surveyor in compliance with state regulations
• Champion safety practices, maintain data integrity, and advocate for continuous improvement
