Full Job Description
The Solution Installation Specialist is a key member of Siemens Healthineers’ National Installation Team, delivering expert, on‑site installation of advanced laboratory diagnostic systems. This is a highly visible, customer‑facing role representing the “Face of Siemens” during critical installation and go‑live phases.
The Specialist ensures systems are installed, calibrated, configured, and operational on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards—while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, start up, calibrate, and validate Siemens laboratory diagnostic systems including Atellica, CI1900, Aptio, FlexLab X, HT, and automation solutions, in alignment with project timelines and quality standards, and budget.
• Support installation projects end‑to‑end, including troubleshooting, break/fix support, escalation of technical issues, and proactive communication to minimize delays.
• Evaluate customer site readiness including room layout, utilities, network connectivity, and vendor mechanical installation quality to ensure compliance with factory specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve out‑of‑box failures; diagnose technical and systems issues; order replacement or missing parts as needed.
• Provide detailed feedback to mechanical installation vendors, factory teams, project management, and planning groups to support continuous improvement.
• Document all predefined installation and validation tasks using provided tools and systems.
• Maintain tools and parts inventory, schedule preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment, and complete all required installation documentation.
• Interface effectively with customer personnel to communicate progress, findings, and resolutions in a professional manner.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience
• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline, or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Atellica Solutions, Atellica CI, or Automation diagnostics equipment
• Expert‑level troubleshooting skills with the ability to evaluate room layout and site planning requirements.
• Working knowledge of laboratory facilities, utilities, and basic electrical requirements.
• Ability to configure and connect hospital networks to Siemens remote diagnostics systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location. We offer Robust Benefits to include 4 weeks PTO and 11 holidays.
The base pay range for this position is:
$67,550 - $92,884
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position.
