Job Title: Labor & Employment Partner
Location: DTLA, CA - Remote or Hybrid
Compensation: Basic salary + bonus/benefits
A well-established Labor & Employment practice is looking to expand its DTLA team with a service-oriented Partner who can take an active role in handling sophisticated employment matters while supporting and developing junior attorneys.
The practice has a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and is seeking an experienced attorney who enjoys being hands-on with cases, working collaboratively with associates and building strong client relationships.
The Role: The successful candidate will bring substantial experience handling both single-plaintiff and class action wage and hour matters, including PAGA litigation. This is an opportunity for a Partner who enjoys taking an active role in matters while mentoring junior attorneys and serving as a trusted resource to the team.
Key Responsibilities: - Handle single-plaintiff and class action wage and hour matters.
- Defend employers in PAGA litigation.
- Develop litigation strategy and manage matters through resolution.
- Work closely with junior associates on active cases.
- Mentor and support associates in their development.
- Act as a key point of contact for associates and clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Requirements: - Partner-level experience in Labor & Employment law.
- Strong experience handling both single-plaintiff and class action wage and hour matters.
- Significant PAGA experience.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise junior associates.
- Experience working collaboratively with associates on complex matters.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- California Bar admission in good standing.
