The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Counsel with 6+ years of experience to join our Los Angeles team.

The Day-To-Day

As a Counsel in the Labor & Employment Department, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

You Have

• 6+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation defense experience, ideally working on wage and hour laws, terminations, layoffs, workplace violence prevention, internal investigation procedure, and developments in California law.
• Experienced in reviewing, updating, and maintaining employee handbooks, as well as a variety of standalone employment policies and agreements.
• The ability and drive to take responsibility for routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.
• Top law firm experience.
• Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to think outside the box, and a knack for finding practical solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California.

Los Angeles:

The salary range for this role is $220,000 to $435,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
