Qualifications

• 5-8 years of data center or network operations experience
• CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent networking certifications
• Advanced fiber optic certification (CFOT/CFOS)
• Demonstrated OTDR proficiency and fiber characterization experience
• Experience leading teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Security+ certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots complex network issues including OSPF/BGP and VLAN misconfigurations
• Provides multi-vendor hardware support across various environments
• Conducts circuit turn-ups and performs acceptance testing for different fiber types
• Executes optical testing using OTDR and other testing equipment
• Oversees system commissioning and burn-in procedures
• Leads technical deployment projects and supervises crew members
• Documents root cause analysis for connectivity failures
• Coordinates with carriers and third-party vendors for project execution
• Takes charge of emergency response and incident leadership
• Develops and refines site-specific runbooks and methods of procedure (MOPs)
