The Work:At the Manager grade you lead the ontology work on a single engagement: schema and taxonomy design, knowledge-graph construction, retrieval-augmented generation over the resulting corpus, and the agent context engineering that makes the knowledge consumable (all four are named skills on this family's W16 matrix).
At the Senior Manager grade you hold authority across engagements and shape the method. We assess that fit at interview, not at requisition.
This is a joint posting covering Manager (CL7) and Senior Manager (CL6) grades, with Accenture's one-level lift at the firm's discretion.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements. Here's what you need:- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, with at least 1-2 years specifically on AI/LLM-based work.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with knowledge graph technologies, including RDF, SPARQL, property graphs, and/or SHACL, and graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent.
- AI-adjacent experience counts toward the bars above: strong credentials in the neighboring discipline combined with 1-2 years of hands-on LLM work is exactly the profile we grow.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with retrieval-augmented generation and agent context engineering in production or near-production contexts.
- Minimum of 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
