Key Account Manager We are looking for a
Key Account Manager for our
Mid-West US region (Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin). In this role you will work in our fast paced, expanding sales team to drive proactive value creation and revenue generation for our services and products.
Your Responsibilities:- Perform B2B sales activities from lead generation through closure within the Aero/PG segment
- Promote and sell coating solutions, materials, and equipment including Thermal Spray, Laser Clad, Welding, and Thin Film technologies
- Coordinate sales efforts with sales management, accounting, and technical services groups
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
- Formulate strategies for building and growing the accounts and maximizing their potential value
- Research, gather, analyze, maintain and disseminate information about assigned accounts; develop exceptional knowledge of the customer and competitors and be well versed in the customer's problems, initiatives, goals, needs, and issues
- Provide regular sales forecasts and appropriate feedback from the field utilizing MS CRM
- Create and maintain account plans for existing customers; highlighting profile, market share, competition, and value opportunities
- Develop and manage agreements for equipment, materials and engineering systems aimed at business growth and stability
- Develop & maintain strong customer relationships with decision makers at strategic 1st tier accounts including Global Accounts such as GE Engines Services & Rolls Royce
Your Profile:- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline; equivalent experience may substitute
- 8+ years of technical sales and key account management
- Network of operational, technical and business management key decision makers and supply chain for thermal spray & thin film supply chain
- Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work in a team oriented organization
- Technical aptitude in Thermal Spray Coatings, HVAF, Laser Clad, Welding, and Thin Film technologies
- Independent and self-motivated with minimal level of supervision required
- Ability to manage and develop new growth projects independently and orchestrate support functions
- Flexibility to adapt to new tools and market dynamics
- Flexible for up to 70% travel mostly within the Mid West
Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $100,000 to $125,000 per year (which will be prorated according to part-time employment). Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.
