Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental program
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate Orthodontic residency
• 0-3 years of practicing as an orthodontist
• Current and valid dental license in the practice state
• Certifications including CPR and DEA as required by the state
• High level knowledge of orthodontic treatment planning
• Customer service or sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests to assess patients' dental conditions
• Create treatment plans for malocclusion and orthodontic concerns
• Instruct orthodontic assistants on procedures and techniques
• Fit patients with orthodontic appliances
• Educate patients about ongoing orthodontic care
• Participate in community involvement and business marketing
