Full Job Description
The Position:

This position is awaiting contract award.

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Program / Project / Management Analyst to join our team supporting the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River.

In this mid-level role, you will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives, track integrated master schedules, and monitor budget execution.

You will play a central role in organizing multi-faceted heavy-lift acquisition datasets and ensuring that all documentation, data management, and configuration change control workflows strictly align with established government processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to evaluate heavy-lift program objectives, tracking milestones, critical path schedules, and project statuses.
  • Analyze conflicting program requirements, operational status updates, budget execution data, and project schedules to identify performance risks and schedule variance.
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analyses to support decision-making, trade-off studies, and operational alternatives across the aircraft lifecycle.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret complex data streams relating to aircraft, heavy-lift weapons systems, and product acquisition programs.
  • Apply government-instituted processes for official documentation control, configuration change control management, and secure technical data management lifecycle procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3 to 10 years of direct experience in program analysis, project tracking, or defense acquisition management performing the functional duties described above.
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR program office (PMA) environments, defense acquisition pathways, and standard milestone review processes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (such as MS Project and advanced Excel), strong technical drafting capabilities, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills.
