Job Description
Role: Java Full stack Developer
Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 days a week)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in delivering high-quality, zero-defect projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, drive technical excellence through code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Design and optimize queries for SQL and Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to develop user interfaces, preferably using Angular 8.
- Integrate systems using JMS, Kafka, and GIS technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in Agile development practices.
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Languages & Core: Java 8, Core Java / J2EE fundamentals, REST APIs
- Frontend: Angular 8
- Frameworks & Databases: Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate (or proficiency in JSF / Struts), MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle Database (very strong skills essential)
- Big Data & Messaging: Apache Spark, Kafka (or other messaging services)
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS SDK (Basic), Azure SDK (Basic)
Good-to-Have Skills
- DevOps & Tools: Docker, Linux (Basic), ETL Tools, Integration Testing
- IoT & Cloud Services: IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Event Hub
- Data & Methodologies: Data Analytics (Tableau), Agile Development Methodology
Desired Profile & Responsibilities
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with very good communication skills.
- Leadership & Quality: Capable of conducting thorough code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and driving a culture of "First Time Right" with zero production defects.
- Integration Experience: Prior experience with Web Services or JMS is a strong plus.
The base salary for this position is $82,000 to $102,580 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
