Job Summary
The Java Developer follows the company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. This role involves preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. The developer collaborates with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency and participates in architecture, design, and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow the company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
• Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements.
• Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with development staff to maintain quality and consistency.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
• Break down large efforts into estimable, deliverable work items.
• Balance development speed, quality, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with system and API design, including RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of data modeling and databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and basic cloud infrastructure, including containers and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to drive ambiguous problems toward effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Camunda BPMM.
