Job Description:We are looking for a
Java Backend Developer with
3-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, with a good understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Develop scalable and high-performance microservices.
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
Required Skills- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of Git and Maven/Gradle.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
