JOB DESCRIPTION

Build the digital ecosystem that powers advisor growth and leadership coaching across JPMorganChase Wealth Management. Bring your product ownership, analytics, and people leadership skills to a high-visibility team with strong benefits and clear career growth and mobility.

As a Area Product Owner, Practice Management for the Field Management and Advisor Tools team, you will set strategy and deliver the Practice Management ecosystem end-to-end.
You will lead and develop a small product team while partnering with advisors, field leaders, and technology, design, and data teams.
You will define the roadmap, success measures, and prioritization that translate business strategy into measurable outcomes and simplify advisor workflows.
You will drive disciplined discovery, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement with strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Practice Management platform, aligning capabilities with the evolving needs of advisors, field leaders, and the firm’s growth objectives
  • Design digital experiences and business solutions that help advisors build, manage, and strategically grow their practices throughout every stage of their business lifecycle
  • Deliver tools and insights that enable field management to coach more effectively, identify growth opportunities, and drive advisor performance
  • Champion innovation by leveraging data, analytics, and user feedback to continuously enhance advisor productivity, business outcomes, and user experience
  • Lead and develop 4–5 direct reports through coaching, goal setting, performance management, and career planning
  • Build a high-performing team culture focused on customer outcomes, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, sequencing, and measurable success outcomes
  • Own delivery plans and capacity planning across milestones, timelines, and dependencies
  • Drive end-to-end testing strategy and execution across functional, automated, and performance testing
  • Monitor delivery health, risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators using Red/Amber/Green reporting and clear escalation paths
  • Drive adoption and change management through communications, training approaches, and stakeholder engagement

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience owning a product roadmap and delivering capabilities from discovery through launch
  • Experience working directly with advisors and field leaders to translate business needs into product enhancements and capabilities
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience or readiness to step into formal people management
  • Ability to translate business strategy into prioritized requirements and measurable product outcomes
  • Experience partnering with technology, design, and data stakeholders to deliver digital products using Agile and iterative practices
  • Experience defining success metrics and measuring adoption, user outcomes, and business impact
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior leaders
  • Experience using data, analytics, and user feedback to drive product decisions and continuous improvement
  • Experience designing and implementing testing processes across planning, execution, and defect management
  • Experience supporting change management, communications, and training for product adoption
  • Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance expectations in a regulated environment

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience building digital tools for wealth management, advisor workflows, or practice management
  • Experience delivering performance dashboards, analytics, or insight products for frontline leaders
  • Familiarity with product analytics and data visualization tooling
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar data querying skills
  • Experience leading large-scale platform modernization or transformational initiatives
  • Experience hiring and scaling teams, including developing talent pipelines
