JOB OPPORTUNITY: ITS Application Analyst III (ITS Analytics Enablement Team)
Hartford HealthCare Corporation (HHC) seeks a full-time ITS Application Analyst III to work on its ITS Analytics Enablement Team. The ITS Application Analyst III will independently design, develop, and maintain enterprise business intelligence (BI) and data analytics solutions to support reporting, operational analysis, and organizational decision making. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires the application of advanced analytical judgment in a high visibility analytics environment. Will analyze complex and often ambiguous business and data requirements and translate them into technical BI specifications, including dashboards, reports, and analytical data artifacts. Will develop, optimize, and validate advanced data models, queries, and visualizations that integrate data from multiple enterprise sources and deliver analytical outputs relied upon by cross functional and enterprise stakeholders. In performing these duties, will collaborate extensively with business, IT, and data governance teams to clarify requirements, resolve data gaps, and ensure analytics solutions align with enterprise standards. Will apply critical thinking and analytical reasoning to assess data integrity, evaluate alternative solutions, and resolve complex analytical challenges in environments with evolving or incomplete information. Will serve as a subject matter expert for business intelligence tools and data solutions, providing technical guidance and supporting production analytics environments. Will also develop end user training, prepare professional documentation, and document analytics processes and solution changes to support data governance, quality, and compliance requirements. Position is based at 9 Farm Springs Road, Farmington, CT 06032 but telecommuting is allowed with prior authorization from management.
The annual pay for this position will be at least $155,293. Qualifications:
The minimum requirements for this position are: U.S. Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Applications, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science. This position requires 5 years of progressive experience working in any occupation designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence and data analytics solutions. Such experience must include collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, serving as subject matter expert, delivering end-user training, developing instructional materials for business intelligence tools and data analytics solutions.
