As an IT Specialist (System Administration / System Analysis), you will be responsible for a wide range of complex duties. Your major duties include, but are not limited to, the following:- Lead the day-to-day operations, configuration, maintenance, capacity planning, and troubleshooting for enterprise servers, digital services, and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, and internal/external websites) across multiple operating environments.
- Evaluate organizational business processes and IT needs, translate functional requirements into actionable technical specifications, conduct alternative product analyses, and direct user-acceptance and system-integration testing for new or modernized digital solutions.
- Ensure assigned systems maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO) by implementing Federal/NIST security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, leading incident remediation, and responding to FISMA compliance data calls.
- Administer, tune, and maintain backend databases; ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery; and build SQL queries, reports, and dashboards to support operational decision-making.
- Manage IT project schedules, roadmaps, and resources; monitor technical contractor performance; and provide senior-level IT advice and advanced tier troubleshooting to approximately 300 OIG personnel, leadership, and external partners.

QualificationsCredit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a

- Systems Administration: Administering enterprise platforms, digital collaboration tools, or web environments (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, or directory/identity services); managing user permissions and access controls; and executing platform configuration updates or migrations.
- Systems Analysis: Conducting business-process or IT-needs analyses; gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and technical requirements; and translating user needs into system specifications or workflow diagrams.
- Systems Analysis: Evaluating IT products, software, or technical alternatives; assisting with or coordinating system-integration activities; and planning or executing system, functional, or user-acceptance testing (UAT).
