Full Job Description
The IT Project Manager ensures successful and timely execution of technical programs across multiple teams in multiple locations and throughout the full system development life cycle working closely with IT and business partners. Role will align to Information Technology PMO. The successful candidate will work closely with IT Leadership to deliver projects within the IT Portfolio.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Tracking & Reporting - Monitor project status, track technical issues, and provide clear and effective reporting on milestones, deliverables, expectations, dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, escalations, and overall progress.
  • Coaching and support project team to follow PMO processes and procedures to support on time, quality, and scope goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Issue Management - Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, addressing project-related concerns and ensuring alignment on integration and deployment efforts.
  • Program Governance & Best Practices - Drive program integrity and coherence by maintaining an effective environment within PMO, establishing program-related practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to improve organizational capabilities.
  • End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management - Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from demo and field trials to integration planning and deployment, ensuring smooth execution across all phases.
  • Independent Project Execution & Collaboration - Work autonomously to manage daily project activities, maintain collaboration forums, and track overall program success criteria through performance metrics and reports.
  • Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement - Develop and maintain standardized processes for project execution, leveraging best practices from PMO to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Project Documentation & Compliance - Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring adherence to both standard and internal processes


Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business administration, computer science, engineering, medical technology, or related field of study
  • 6+ years' experience in IT project management, program management or portfolio management roles


Preferred Experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Commercial, medical device or manufacturing program management experience
  • 2-4 years' experience in Agile project methodologies.
  • Effective written and oral communications in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An ability to build models and analyze costs, risks, timelines, metrics, etc. using Excel.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $104,134 - $163,640. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
