Position Summary: The IT Manager oversees day-to-day IT operations, support services, systems maintenance, and user experience while driving automation and AI-enabled efficiency in service delivery.
Position Details:- Location: Northbrook, IL
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
- Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
Key Responsibilities- Manage IT help desk and support ticketing system
- Oversee hardware, software, and system maintenance
- Support network and infrastructure performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues across departments
- Maintain IT documentation and system logs
- Support vendor coordination and system updates
- Track IT performance metrics and service levels
- Additional duties as assigned
AI & Automation Requirement- Must implement AI-powered help desk and ticket routing systems
- Responsible for automating repetitive IT support tasks
- Expected to use AI tools for diagnostics, documentation, and system monitoring
- Must continuously identify opportunities to reduce manual IT workload through automation
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:- 4-7 years of IT support or systems administration experience
- Experience managing help desk or technical support environments
- Knowledge of networking, systems, and troubleshooting
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, etc. preferred)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
AI Requirement:- Experience using AI tools to support IT troubleshooting, ticket routing, or documentation
- Ability to automate repetitive IT support processes
