Job Tite: IT Manager

Location: Salem NH

Responsibilities:

Serve as the local site IT Manager for the Salem facility, ensuring a stable and reliable IT environment working to achieve 0h downtime in manufacturing systems.

Coordinate end user onboarding, workstation deployment, patching, software maintenance, and endpoint management activities.

Conduct regular review meetings with vendors, clients, and IT staff.

Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, including internet, telecommunications, and MSP.

Ensure effective management of IT assets lifecycle.

Drive timely resolution of end-user support activities.

Diagnose, triage, and escalate issues impacting the delivery of technology to the organisation.

Understand and manage the manufacturing dependencies on IT hardware and systems.

Coordinate support across infrastructure, applications, networking, cyber security, and business systems.

Oversee day-to-day local site projects, infrastructure health, ensuring IT changes / patch schedules are coordinated with manufacturing production schedules and business priorities.

Ensure Wi-Fi, network connectivity, conferencing technology, and site infrastructure remain operational and available.

Support rack-and-stack activities, hardware deployments, equipment lifecycle management, and site technology refreshes.

Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs and ensure critical applications are properly supported.

Coordinate infrastructure changes, upgrades, maintenance windows, and technology projects.

Produce weekly activity reports across various systems and services.

Drive continuous improvement in IT operations, documentation, and support processes.

Maintain a proactive ownership mindset with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving the end user experience.

Remain organized and calm when resolving high-pressure issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

8+ years of demonstrated experience in infrastructure, systems administration or network.

Experience performing technical planning, system integration, or systems analysis in an IT environment.

Experience managing or leading IT operations within a site, plant, office, or distributed environment.

Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across multiple system domains.

Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, endpoint support, and application support

Ability to coordinate across multiple technology teams and vendors.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proven ability to take ownership of technology operations and drive issues to resolution.

Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as the following and associated documentation: NIST SP 800-53 & NIST 800-171Experience aligning technical work with fundamental business objectives.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Salem, NH is $135,000 to $145,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
