Full Job Description
IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support the delivery of client-facing infrastructure and security solutions. This role will assist with infrastructure assessments, security remediation and modernization projects, carve-outs, and the configuration of security applications for new client environments. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions.

How You'll Create Opportunities in This Role

  • Design, implement, and support client infrastructure solutions involving networks, servers, security applications, and collaboration systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure and security assessments for managed services clients, merger and acquisition projects, and new client environments.
  • Configure and administer security applications supporting infrastructure separation, remediation, and modernization initiatives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and security issues affecting client infrastructure and project delivery.
  • Lead or support remediation initiatives identified through infrastructure and security assessments.
  • Perform recurring security checks and support security operations for managed services clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, technical leads, project managers, and team members to develop policies, procedures, documentation, and training materials.
  • Manage assigned work within project timelines and budget expectations while supporting project-based and interim consulting engagements.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required. 5 years of experience preferred. Infrastructure or cloud engineering experience in a consulting, managed services, or enterprise cloud engineering environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, cloud networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and security practices.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Microsoft365, Azure, and Cisco Certifications are a plus.
