Full Job Description
Work Model: Work Model: You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday–Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday.

The “IT ERP Functional Analyst” is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and support Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS 12.1.3) solutions that meet the needs of Regal’s Strategic Sourcing and Procurement organizations. This role serves as the functional subject‑matter expert for Oracle EBS Sourcing and Procurement modules, translating business requirements into effective system solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, controls, and best practices.

The Functional Analyst works closely with business users, technical teams, and global/offshore partners to deliver enhancements, integrations, and production support across the full application lifecycle.

    • Inventory (INV), BOM, WIP, Costing

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership & Functional Ownership

  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, and document functional requirements across sourcing, procurement, and related supply‑chain processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional solution designs, ensuring alignment with Oracle EBS standard capabilities and minimizing customizations.
  • Act as the functional lead for assigned initiatives, enhancements, and production issues.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Design functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and extensions (RICEW/CEMLI) and collaborate with technical teams for implementation.
  • Review and validate technical designs to ensure functional accuracy, scalability, and supportability.
  • Support solution delivery across the full lifecycle: design, build, test, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
  • Contribute to scope definition, effort estimation, and delivery planning.

Testing & Documentation

  • Create and maintain functional documentation, including:
    • Business Requirements (BR100)
    • Functional Designs (MD50/MD70)
    • Configuration and validation documents
  • Support and coordinate CRP, SIT, regression testing, and UAT, ensuring business sign‑off within agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, designs, and test outcomes.

Integration & Data Flow Support

  • Provide functional oversight for integrations between Oracle EBS Sourcing/Procurement and internal or external systems.
  • Support data validation, error resolution, and reconciliation across interfaces and batch processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve automation, reliability, and cycle time.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide functional production support by triaging issues, identifying root causes, and driving preventive solutions.
  • Support monitoring of scheduled programs and business‑critical processes.
  • Participate in patching, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with Oracle Support and Infrastructure teams.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Ensure solutions comply with SOX controls, audit requirements, and change‑management standards.
  • Establish and reinforce functional standards, documentation practices, and solution‑design guidelines.
  • Contribute cross‑functional expertise and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

Experience

  • 5+ years of functional experience supporting Oracle EBS Sourcing and Procurement in a global environment
  • Experience with:
    • 1–2 full lifecycle implementations and/or
    • 2+ years of production support, enhancements, and integrations
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred

Functional & Technical Knowledge

  • Deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS:
    • Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Procurement Contracts, iSupplier
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Oracle EBS data models, APIs, and open interfaces
    • RICEW/CEMLI concepts (reports, interfaces, extensions, workflows)
    • Oracle Value Chain Planning (ASCP, Demantra, Inventory Optimization)
  • Ability to analyze supply/demand exceptions and operational issues within SLAs
  • Familiarity with Oracle AIM methodology
  • Experience supporting discrete manufacturing supply‑chain processes is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills with global and offshore teams

Travel: 25% of time – mostly during project milestones, kaizen or similar events

Language: English
