IT Enterprise Project Manager for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will lead multiple high-priority IT initiatives within a complex healthcare technology environment, overseeing planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and delivery. The role requires close engagement with both business and technical teams to ensure projects achieve their objectives on time and with high quality.
Required Qualifications of the IT Enterprise Project Manager:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Proven experience managing IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation and completion.
- Strong project planning experience, including effort estimation, scheduling, resource allocation, milestones, and dependencies.
- Background managing projects within a healthcare insurance, healthcare technology, or comparable complex IT environment.
- Demonstrated experience identifying, evaluating, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project information to executive management.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, listening, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate teams and organizations with competing priorities and diverse interests.
- Experience developing project plans, status reports, risk registers, issue logs, and other project management documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project management tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, Access, and SharePoint.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Enterprise Project Manager:- Experience with Medicaid, healthcare delivery systems, healthcare claims platforms, or related government healthcare technology initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience managing multiple high-profile, high-priority projects concurrently.
Responsibilities of the IT Enterprise Project Manager:- Gather and document business and technical requirements while developing a detailed understanding of project objectives and operational needs.
- Build, maintain, and execute project plans covering scope, schedules, resources, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
- Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation activities.
- Coordinate business teams, technical resources, leadership, vendors, contractors, and external organizations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, metrics, and recommendations for management and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables and activities are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with established quality expectations.
Work Location: Columbia, South Carolina -
4 days onsite per week.
