Full Job Description
  • POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Coordinator under supervision of the Director of IT, plans, organizes and controls projects which are to become part of the Conference Board's Information Technology environment. Works with the Web Programming team and corporate departments to define, create, modify and maintain the web, SugarCRM and other application environments within TCB.

  • REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The IT Coordinator directly reports to the Associate Director of IT and works closely with the web development team, application and database development teams.

  • PRINCIPAL DIRECT ACTIVITIES
  1. Works with programming team to produce products that are delivered on time and within budget.
  1. Analyzes and solves information systems problems. Analyses alternatives that can be applied to solve information system problems.
  1. Designs appropriate program documentation, program narrative, flow charts, detailed programming specifications and user instruction manuals.
  1. Provides advice to Associate Director, IT suggesting appropriate application designs and alternatives in the development process.
  1. Assists users to form and develop system specifications to accomplish new or enhanced software applications and reports
  1. Work with Associate Director, IT to assist in note keeping and tracking of daily call with internal and external vendors on status and progress of projects
  1. Prepares test programs for new applications and performs QA tests and reporting
  1. Responsible for system documentation and user training
  1. Reviews, assigns and manages help desk tickets as they relate to TCB software applications and websites
  1. Confers with other technical personnel and user groups in the application planning process.
  1. Maintains knowledge about technical developments. Makes recommendations concerning new technical developments that should be incorporated into the processing environment.
  1. Responsible for IT department related administration duties including: department billing and record keeping
  1. Responsible for assisting users in creating single system reports from TCB Databases or SugarCRM system
  1. Other duties as assigned
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 5 years application project management experience or equivalent experience
  • BS degree required
  • 5 year experience in application support
  • Strong understanding of QA testing processes
  • Familiar with Coldfusion, PHP, SQL, HTML
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (Sugar or Salesforce preferred) including writing queries and reports and web technologies, proficient in MS Office suite of products
  • Other duties as assigned
