DescriptionThe IT Compliance Specialist will ensure that our organization adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies related to IT systems and data security. This role involves assessing compliance risks, developing policies, and implementing controls to safeguard sensitive information.
RequirementsQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Experience with IT audits and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS Version 8, COBIT 5, ISO/IEC 27001, or NIST SP 800-53
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance requirements clearly.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) are a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct regular audits of IT systems to ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and SOC 2.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Monitor and report on compliance status to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors during compliance reviews and certifications.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.
