Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Associate to join our Investment Funds practice in Boston. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced attorneys to advise clients on a wide range of investment fund matters, including fund formation, fund financing, and fund governance. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to gain hands-on experience in the investment funds industry and contribute to the success of our clients.

Requirements

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
* Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam in Massachusetts)
* 0-3 years of experience in investment funds or related experience in a law firm or financial institution
* Strong academic record and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in investment funds, asset management, or private equity
* Familiarity with fund formation, fund governance, and regulatory issues affecting investment funds
* Experience working with clients in the financial services industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
