  • Manage daily portfolio administration and onboarding support for new clients.
  • Prepare customized client reports, reviews, and financial summaries.
  • Assist in developing and presenting investment proposals for prospective clients.
  • Communicate with clients regarding trades and portfolio activity.
  • Participate in special projects like large-scale account transfers and tax-loss selling.

Full Job Description

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, investment-focused environment. The ideal candidate takes ownership and accountability for day-to-day portfolio needs, executes trades with precision, ensures alignment with portfolio mandates, and contributes to process improvements and being a team player. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, along with a collaborative and client-focused mindset, are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute equity, fixed income, and FX trades across client accounts, monitoring security prices to support timely entry and exit decisions aligned with Portfolio Manager direction.
  • Invest incoming funds and rebalance portfolios while analyzing diversification and identifying allocation drift.
  • Perform equity analysis to support portfolio strategy and investment decision-making.
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio administration, including onboarding support for new and transferring clients.
  • Prepare customized client reports, portfolio reviews, market updates, and financial summaries.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of investment proposals for prospective clients.
  • Communicate with clients regarding trades, portfolio activity, and market developments.
  • Participate in special projects such as large-scale account transfers, tax-loss selling, and mandate reviews.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Portfolio Managers as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Registered Representative under CIRO.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant investment or wealth management experience.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, market fundamentals, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and manage competing priorities;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Dataphile, netx360, Envestnet, Maximizer or Salesforce is an asset.
