Full Job Description
The Security Intelligence Investigator is a key member of MSG's Investigations & Security Operations team who will maintain situational awareness of potential and developing risks capable of impacting the personnel and assets for the MSG Company. In addition, The Security Intelligence Investigator will support the general threat management functions while also conducting on-the-ground intelligence operations, such as security advances for executive protection and security assessments for venue and event locations. The Security Intelligence Investigator will react to alerts, allegations, suspicious activity, and intelligence to protect the Company from internal and external threats. The ideal candidate has proven investigative experience as a law enforcement official, consultant, corporate investigator, or combination of these areas. The candidate will have familiarity with multiple forms of information technology and communications platforms. What will you do? 3 Effectively identify and analyze relevant risks and vulnerabilities and produce actionable products in a timely manner to inform enterprise-wide security operations. 3 Monitor geopolitical events of concern that might impact international travel, corporate events, and/or operations, and provide periodic and timely reporting. 3 Provide ad-hoc intelligence analysis support to Executive Protection/Protective Services personnel and other key stakeholders. 3 Investigate internal/external fraud and corruption related activities to include, but not limited to: Embezzlement, check, and credit card frauds; identity thefts; bribery; procurement fraud; as well as construction related waste, fraud, and abuse. 3 Conduct victim, witness, and subject interviews; collect, review, and analyze documents, records, electronic communications, and other data; conduct research and background checks of individuals, corporations and other entities and identifiers. 3 Maintain knowledge of emerging threats, risks and issues related to fraudulent and corruption related schemes and activities. 3 Ability to conduct counter surveillance activities in the vicinity of the client site and lead efforts around covert protective measures. 3 Perform general security duties as needed to support MSG security. 3 Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site. What do you need to succeed? 3 4-6 years of related experience 3 Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 A minimum of 4 years corporate, law enforcement, or government security/intelligence experience involving fieldwork; and three years of public or private sector experience conducting or supporting intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination functions. 3 Excellent communication skills, including the ability to conduct briefings that present clear, concise, and logic-based conclusions to support and inform the executive decision-making process. 3 Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive research and analysis using multiple unclassified sources and synthesize data into information relevant to consumers. 3 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both as in individual and in a team setting, and help implement new ideas 3 Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational sensitivity is essential. 3 Must be a strategic, analytical thinker and operator capable of monitoring and reporting on regional threats to safety or operations. 3 Proficient in online and social media searches, use of e-discovery and other analytical tools, and case management systems. 3 LEOSA / HR-218 preferred. 3 Experience in cyber forensics is a plus. Special Requirements: 3 Ability to work a flexible schedule in support of a 24/7 security environment, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and nontraditional work hours as operational requirements dictate. 3 Ability to respond to security incidents and investigative matters at MSG venues, offices, and other Company locations. 3 Ability to support executive protection and other protective security operations when required. 3 Ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally, including with limited advance notice. 3 Ability to support major events and other high-profile MSG operations as required. #LI-Onsite Pay Range $75,000-$130,000 USD At MSG, we recognize the importance of upskilling employees' talents and strengths so they can drive their careers forward.
